Q1 2021 Performance of Top Business Finance Apps in Europe on Android

As the first quarter of 2021 has come to a close, Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the performance of top business finance and solutions applications on the Android platform in Europe. Here's how the leading apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

PayPal Business saw its downloads fluctuate, peaking at 47K in mid-February before dropping to 23K by the end of March. Despite this dip, weekly active users showed a steady rise, starting at 152K in late December and reaching a high of 201K in mid-February, before ending the quarter at around 164K.

SumUp experienced a notable increase in downloads, hitting a high of 18K in late February, although this decreased to around 8K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a peak at 307K in late February and concluding the quarter with 274K.

Shopify - Your Ecommerce Store downloads reached their peak at 18K in mid-January but saw a decline to 8K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users saw a modest increase from 83K at the beginning of the quarter to 96K in the final week.

myPOS Glass - POS terminal showed a decreasing trend in downloads, starting at 8K in late December and dropping to 4K by March's end. In contrast, weekly active users experienced a slight increase, starting at around 9K and rising to 11K in mid-March before settling at roughly 10K.

QBSE showed an interesting pattern with revenue peaking at 21K in the first week of March. Downloads for QBSE varied, with a high of 7.8K in early January, but ended the quarter with a slight increase to 4.2K. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 22K and ending the quarter at 20K.
